~*~Super Sushi Rolls~*~
Ingredients:
Sheets of seaweed (nori - dried not roasted)
Grated carrot
Avocado
Cucumber
Nama shoyu (unpasturized soy sauce) or Braggs liquid amino acids
Directions:
Sliced cucumber in thin lengths
Lie on seaweed then put grated carrot
Use quarter avocado then slice in half
Lie next to cucumber sprinkle with
Tamari and roll up ,they are so yummy
You won't even miss the rice ! If you want to add fine pieces of Jicama it is simillar to rice.
Can also add a lettuce leaf or two!
~*~Rawsome Pizza~*~
Ingredients:
Dried Laver Circles (found at Asian Markets)
2 Avocados
Juice of 2 Medium Size Carrots
Dulse Flakes
Toppings:
Tomatoes, Dried Tomatoes, Onions, Bell Peppers, Zucchini, Dried Zucchini, Arugula, Parsley, Cilantro, Cucumbers, Sunchokes, Edible Flowers, Broccoli, and anything else you would like!
Directions:
Mash the two avocados. Add the juice of 2 carrots, Mix Well.
Spread the above mixture on the Laver.
Sprinkle Dulse Flakes to completely cover the avocado Mixture.
Select several toppings and chop them up into small pieces.
Carefully place each topping, one at a time on the pizza.
Be sure to use your imagination, and make it look pretty!
Options:
This recipe is very open to your imagination and creativity!
The "sauce" can be a tomato paste (Sun Dried Tomatoes, fresh tomatoes and soaked walnuts), a humus, dip, a pate, or even a seed cheese! The topping can be anything you desire, just chop it well into small pieces and add!
~*~Raw Chocolate Pudding~*~
Ingredients:
12 dates
12 black mission figs
1 quart purified water
1 tsp raw carob powder
Directions:
Blend 12 dates, 12 black mission figs and 1 quart of purified water. (More or less water may be needed depending on the dryness of your fruit) Start with slightly less.
Add one teaspoon of raw carob powder. You can also add bananan or fresh berries! YUMMY!
Chill and serve in in pudding glasses.
~*~Sunflower Seed Pate~*~
Ingredients:
Sunflower seeds
Lemon juice
Tahini
Tamari or Liquid Aminos
Cumin
Cayenne or Capsicum
Garlic cloves
Directions:
Soak and sprout organic sunflower seeds. Put seeds and garlic through a food processor.Then mix in all other ingredients. Mix to a paste.
~*~Holy Guacamole~*~
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
2 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 red pepper, cut fine
1/2 green pepper, cut fine
1 medium ripe tomato, peeled and chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped fine
1 Tbsp. lime juice
Directions:
Halve the avocados, remove pits and scoop flesh into a glass container. Mash with a fork and blend in remaining ingredients. Serve as quickly as possibe. Serve w/ fresh veggies. Sprouts are rawsome with this!
Or just put it over a salad!
~*~Crazy Good Carrot Cake~*~
Cake:
1 cup dried figs, soaked
1 cup raisins, soaked
1/2 cup pitted dates
4 cups shredded carrots
3 cups soaked nuts (almonds, walnut, or cashews)
1/2 teaspoon each: ginger, cloves, cardamom
Topping:
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup soaking water
Soak figs, raisins and dates in 3 1/2 cups of water for about one hour,
reserving liquid. Soak nuts in 5 cups of water for 8-12 hours.
Drain, rinse and drain nuts again. Place nut in food processor and chop finely, place in large bowl. Add figs, raisins, dates and spices to processor and process until smooth. Pour mixture into bowl with the nuts. Mix well.
Add carrots mix thoroughly. Form mixture into desired cake shape.
Process dates, cashews and soaking water until smooth.untillit is spreadable. This is the frosting for the top of the cake YUMMY!
